ACME Solar Shines Bright with Massive ₹2,800 Crore Equity Boost

ACME Solar Holdings has raised Rs 2,800 crore through a qualified institutions placement (QIP), marking its first equity fundraising initiative since its public listing in 2024.

The offering received robust interest from a broad base of leading domestic and international institutional investors, underscoring strong market confidence in the company’s growth trajectory, operational execution, and expanding renewable energy platform. Participants included prominent Indian mutual funds and insurance investors such as SBI Mutual Fund, HDFC Mutual Fund, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, and Kotak Mutual Fund, alongside global investment institutions including BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority.

The capital raised will be primarily deployed toward debt reduction and balance sheet strengthening, supporting improved financial flexibility and positioning the company for future growth opportunities.

ACME Solar Holdings has a total contracted renewable energy capacity of 8,070 MW and operates as an integrated renewable energy company, overseeing the development, construction, ownership, and operation of utility-scale clean energy projects across India.
